Hi Ms. Karen!!

It's Emily and Bean here!  My little guy has been settling in so well, it feels like he's always been here!  He is trying so hard to keep up his potty training and he is doing a really good job.Just like you said, my fiance fell in love with him on the first day and they are like old friends :)  Bean has mastered the 'sit' command already, and he's starting to learn how to love his harness.  He is not a big fan of the leash yet, however.  His favorite time of day is bedtime, when he becomes a crazy little dog for about an hour, terrorizing us by running around under the blankets and biting our toes until he falls asleep.  He sleeps soundly through the night and he always wakes us up if he needs to go potty (because he can't get down from the bed on his own.  He loves all of his toys and he plays fetch with us for hours until he falls asleep.  He has made two friends so far; Peanut the rat terrier and Gizmo the Shih Tzu.  Bean doesn't realize that he is microscopic compared to these other two dogs and he chases them around like a big bully.  He is so funny!!!

I just wanted to thank you so much for letting me have this precious little puppy.  He has brought so much joy into my life already and he means to world to me!  It was so nice to meet you and get to see all of your babies and have tea with you.  You're a wonderful lady and I hope you continue to do what you love for ever :)
Emily from Lake Charles, LA

PS- my future mother in law loves Bean so much that she wants to come get a puppy from you sometime soon! :D

Hi Karen-

Just wanted to drop in and let you know how well "Buddi" has adjusted to our home and is already a BIG part of our family!

My sons decided to keep her internet name of Taylor, but they call her Ta-Ta for short and she is learning her name.  To our surprise, she is fully potty-trained and have had no slip ups yet!  She takes turns sleeping with each of our boys at night and I have yet to have a night with her!  They love her! She is a doll and we are so enjoying her!  We hope you enjoy the picture we have attached. Thanks for giving us the wonderful gift of companionship!

Betty, Dave, Devin and Lukas Kamyk

Hey Karen!
Anabelle is doing great!! She was awake the whole car ride home and loved looking out the window! She was being so good the whole time. When we got her home she crashed on her bed. She peed on the pee pad as soon as she got up! It's like she had been going to the bathroom there for weeks already. She's been sleeping all day now and she's the cutest thing :) My mom already fell in love with her. Thank you so much for all you have done! You've been so great through this whole process! Hopefully we will be coming back to you for another little one!

First I'd like to thank you and your husband for the wonderful hospitality shown mom, Aunt Helen and me. Thursday was a very good day for us besides getting lost in Sealy, then again in Houston. All in all we got everything accomplished that we needed to.

Now to my heart, Duncan. He is such a joy. He

sleeps all night long! I get worried about him  having to pee or poop, but he has held it all night. Again with the potty training, What training? You've done it all. The sprinkle of bleach worked wonders, as soon as he smelled that he started turning in circles and done his business. The cat and him are still getting to know each other very slowly. Tiger will hiss and Duncan just looks at him like please let me play with you. I think in time Tiger will come around and love Duncan as much as we all do. Duncan is napping with mom right now. She just keeps talking about The General. Your dogs are all such wonderful animals. When you let them all out to play, it was oh my gosh!! Your dedication to these small animals is awesome! I can only thank you for such a well mannered and wonderful addition to the family. It's been days now, but he has already changed our lives here in Lake Charles. "Aunt Helen" from Beaumont even called the next day to see how he was doing. Mom and her fell in love with all the animals. It would have been hard to decide if I would of had to pick once I got there, they are all so lovely. But I know, my heart knows, I've made the right decision. I don't know how you and your husband ever have alone time, vacations, etc. Both of you are extra special people to dedicate your lives to  the "innocent" ones here on Earth.

May God continue to bless you daily and give you the strength and encouragement you and your husband needs to continue on this journey you have been called for.

Karla from Lake Charles

Hi Karen,
I just wanted to give you an update on the 3 musketeers!  My friends thought I was crazy to get 3 puppies at once, but I felt pretty confident about how well you socialize and train your puppies after getting Wilson last summer, and this time has been even easier, believe it or not!  I have had so much fun getting to know them individually the last 2 days and learning all about their very distinct personalities.  I have figured out that Piper (you called her Rachel) is the mischievous one in the group.  If anything is knocked over, you know who did it.  She is also the one who takes all the toys and hides them so the other two can't get them, and drags their blanky around so she can make sure it's close at hand if she decides to take a nap. What a charmer she is, and very, very smart. Her name is really unique, but it just fits her to a T.....  Then there's little Tyson (Beau).  He is way too smart, and was the first to show everyone else how to use the potty paper.  He is also very adventurous and has already chased Charmin the cat up onto the desk. He felt like such a Macho Man!!! (They will eventually be friends because she sleeps with the "big chi's"....she just isn't quite sure what these little things are!) Tyson is also the one who went on a great adventure into my closet....he thought the shoes were tons of fun!!  And then there's little Xina (Ember).....she is the cuddliest thing I have ever seen.  They all fight for a place in my lap, but she is the first to crawl up, and she is perfectly contented to just curl up and sleep there for hours.  And at night, she can usually be found sleeping up on my pillow with me, sort of cuddling in my hair!  What a doll !! They are all so smart and just seemed to instinctively KNOW their names......I can't explain it other than to say that as I decided on a name for each one, they seemed to just know that was the perfect one for them and they came when I called them by it.  Strange, but since I have been introduced to your babies, I'm not sure that anything should surprise me.  I have never known smarter, more people-oriented Chi's in all my life and I have had Chi's since I was a little girl.  But yours are totally amazing. I had a doctors appointment yesterday, so put the 3 in a crate while I was gone. It took longer than I had anticipated, so I was dreading the mess I would find, but to my complete surprise, there wasn't a single mess in the crate.  All 3 of them made a B-Line for their potty paper and looked very relieved when they were done, but it completely blew me away that 3 pups that were so young would be able to hold it for several hours.  Also, from the first night, they whine and wake me up during the night when they need to potty, and I put them down on the floor by their paper, they do their business, and they are ready to go right back to sleep. I WISH MY KIDS HAD BEEN THIS EASY TO POTTY-TRAIN!!!!

Thanks so much Karen for all the help, advice, and for all the time you spend preparing your wonderful puppies for their new forever homes, as they are the best little companions I have ever had......and since I was an only child, I have had dogs all my life.  But these guys far surpass any that I have had.

Bless you!  Keep up the amazing work you do with these precious little guys!

Karen,
Just wanted to update you on Coco. She is now 4.2 pounds, and she is just the sweetest and most playful and friendly puppy we could've asked for. I attached a picture of her in a doggy tote bag I bought her - she was riding beside me in the car. She's living with Brad and I, but she makes frequent visits to my parent's house because they love her so much. Her coloring and brindle markings just keep getting prettier. I hope everything is going well in Sealy!  ~ Erin

Karen,
I just want you to know that Romeo is so adorable!  He is doing great and has warmed up to everyone including the cat, who absolutely loves him, they are the same age. (they play and play!)

His first night was good, and we were so proud of him, he used the bathroom outside, and yes I rewarded him with some hotdogs. He slept snuggled up with me last night because he was feeling a bit homesick, and that was just what the Dr. ordered, he woke us up at about 3:30, Dennis took him outside and he did his little job then came back to bed. Tonight I am going to try and get him to sleep in his little bed, we will see how that goes, Sassie has excepted him real well and has seemed to be in a much happier mood after the loss of Ronnie, she has grieved a lot, it is

wonderful to see her coming out of her depression she has been going through. I will keep in touch, thank you so much for everything, we absolutely love little Romeo, you did good! Attached are some pictures we had discussed with Sassie, let us know what you think of her, we love her a lot and she is so sweet, she just looks different then most.
Take care,  ~ Jackie

Just a quick update!  Romeo is doing wonderful, his personality has emerged, he is definitely the character you had described. He has completely accepted us as his family and has so much love to give. He loves the grandkids and I like that about him, he's not very big but there is enough of him to go around for everyone, HE LOVES BEING THE CENTER OF ATTENTION! He's also becoming a baseball fan, his first game was exciting, met all kinds of people and was such a sweet little guy, everyone loved him. We thought about getting him a little jersey with our sons number on it and WTC's logo, that would be too cute. He is best friends with Pat the cat, where you see one you see the other, they get along so well and play so hard, it is just fun entertainment. Thank you again, we are loving Romeo more and more everyday.     When we get a chance we'll share some more pics, take care!  ~Jackie Middleton

Hi Karen,
Sorry it took me so long to write. I wanted to let you know how Dobby (formerly known as Benjamin) is doing.  He is so so so so good! It only took me a few days to teach him "Sit" - my gosh is he intelligent! He's a dream come true and everyone who meets him falls in love instantly. He is so friendly and loving, his tail doesn't stop wagging. I am also in love with his coat- the tri-color is gorgeous.  I will be in touch with pictures and such- I also have a video of him sitting on command, I can send that too if you'd like.  Thank you for this wonderful little boy!! Hope all is well :)    ~Candace

Karen,
I wanted to let you know how our new puppy, Mason, has adjusted to his new home.  He is affectionate, curious, active, playful, and eating well.  Less than 24 hours after we picked him up, he was acting as though he had been in our home all his life.  He did wake me up once during the night, but not because he was upset.  He wanted to play!
We took some pictures, but the color is poor.  We will be taking many more and will send you some within the next few days.

Karen,

Well we have survived the week.  A bit sleep deprived but did survive.  The boys are doing great.  I am calling mine Jordan after Jordan-Hare Stadium at Auburn University, John should love that..  Michael was going to call his Bryant after the Bryant-Denny Stadium at Alabama but every time he looked he kept seeing curious George so he is going to stay Georgie because it fits his personality so well.

The first couple of days if I left the room they would stop what they were doing and wait for me to come back complete with Jordan whining to high heaven.  Then Georgie got brave and became my shadow everywhere
except through the dining room.  He still wasn't brave enough to do the complete circle.  By Saturday Jordan found his courage and will not go between the living room and the office but nowhere else.  Georgie also had a courage boost because now he feels free to go anywhere and everywhere on the main level.  At least Jordan is still limited as to where he will go because I spend most of my time trying to find out what Georgie is getting into.

We didn't have to worry about them eating.  These two really aren't into snacking they want full course meals.  Little Jordan thinks he is a horse instead of a Chi but he really doesn't like eating for the bowl he wants it spread out on the carpet so the courses don't touch.  Of course little is probably not the appropriate word for him.  lol.  He is now at 44 ounces and Georgie is only 42.   I'll keep an eye on their weight for a while to make sure they are gaining weight like they should.  How much did Jordan's parents weigh?  He has a lot of puppy fat from the extra time he was with his mom but he may turn out to be the larger of the two.  This is bad news for Georgie.  Georgie is having a good time bullying Jordan.  I keep warning him to be nice because the tides are going to turn.  Jordan does a pretty good job standing up to him and now Jordan outweighs him.  Once Jordan develops his coordination, Georgie's days of bullying will be over.  I pretty much let them handle it themselves.  Jordan has gotten where when he has had enough he will go get in their bed in the office and leave me to deal with Georgie in the living room.  Baby Jordan wears out a lot faster than Georgie.  Georgie is bad about using the bed in the living room like a trampoline and he doesn't care if Jordan is there napping or not.

You were right they are both mine.  I don't know which one is the bigger momma's boy.  I don't give them the hotdog treats I let Michael be the one that is always the bearer of treats.  My version of tying a pork chop around Michael's neck so the dogs will play with him. lol.

They both learned really quick what the phrase, "Off the rug" means.  Jordan is really good with the pee pad but Georgie uses it if it suits him at the moment.  He has gotten a lot better but he is notorious for putting his front feet on the pad and peeing on the carpet.  I am not allowed to put the pads on the tile.  They are just not going to walk on that cold tile when the carpet is so readily available.

The funniest thing at the moment is that Jordan is at half mast.  He can't decide if he wants his ears to stand up or flop over so he compromised and holds his right one up and lops his left one.  See the picture below.  He has been like this for a few days now.

Thanks, Shannon

Hi Karen,

I just wanted to touch base with you and thank you again for your hospitality.  I felt right at home, Rhett & I had a blast chatting with you… Yall are good people.  It’s important to surround yourself with good people.  I hope that we can continue a relationship and I hope to see you out here in a few weeks, so we can all go out and make some bad decisions! J

I am happy to report that Miss Cameo is doing fabulous and her name is now Lil’ Kim or I like to call her Kimmie.  My mom has a Bassett Hound mix named Snoop Dog, so it fits well.  She sleeps in bed with my mom and has a cute pink sweater and a little dress. TOO CUTE!! My mom is out shopping for a carrier/purse so she can lug her around every where. I told

mom she needs to get another one so Lil’ Kim has someone to play with.  Maybe once Lil’ Kim gets a little older…

Goodness does she love her hot dogs!  I’m sure she could eat a whole package if we let her.

Well I will keep you updated on her and I hope to see you again soon! J Marney V.

Juliet is so funny. She has found her play bark and growl. I swear too she is the quickest lil thing I've ever seen. She is hilarious when she's zooming around everywhere. She tucks her lil butt down like its giving her more traction or something. Lol. She had her shots a few weeks ago and did great. It didn't slow her lil butt down a bit. She loves to play and is such a happy puppy. Oh and she likes to chase her tail. Lol. Which never stops wagging, by the way. She insist on still sleeping in the bed. She will find her own way up or sit and bark at me. Lol  ~Tisha

Karen,

Gidget is doing absolutely amazing! We took him out to the ranch last week to be with my family for thanksgiving and everyone absolutely loved him!! He has SO much energy!!!!!! He runs from room to room trying to play with the other dogs until we have to make him stop because his little heart starts pounding! haha! Although he thinks he is as big as our lab, he is scared to death of his reflection in the mirror! ha! Gidget is just the perfect little puppy! :) Other than that, I am taking him to the vet on Thursday for a check-up!

Thank you SO much ~Crystal & Jon

Hi Karen,
Just wanted to say thank you so much for the beautiful puppy. Sorry it took so long to write, been really busy. She is doing great with pee pads and is already following my other chi outside to do her business. You really raise great chis everyone loves her. She has a personality like no other dog I know. She is full of energy but still takes time to cuddle and be affectionate. I will send pictures soon. Once again thank you so much I couldn't ask for a better breeder.

Hey Karen just wanted to thank you again and let you know that our little man is doing great !! Eating like a champ :) Took him to the Dr. this morning and said all looks well! He has become very playful wanted to play all night we were up every 2 hours haha... O well he is just soo darn cute that we didn't mind. Anyways we still haven't come up with a name but one will come to us soon. Right now we are thinking Jasper or Jax ! Who knows. Well just wanted to check in, hope all is well.

Kylee & Jeremy

My little princess is wonderful. She is still so tiny. To me it seems like she hasn't grown since we got her, but I know she has. She has to wear modified ferret clothes. That's how small she still is. I'm so looking forward to getting my next puppy from you. Juliet is the puppy I've always wanted. Thank you for her. ~Tisha

Hi from Austin,
I wanted to let you know Zoey (Dawson) is doing great and the best companion! She is very popular with my patients and a great travel buddy.  My son Paul loves taking naps with her too.

Hi Karen,
I just wanted to update you on how Wilson is doing (called Conn until my kids saw him).  He is just about the cuddliest little guy we have ever seen, and one or the other of the kids has him in their arms about 75% of the time (usually on his back with his feet in the air!!).  I have never known a better natured pup.  He loves everyone, is working really hard on potty
training, and is totally a part of the family.  Thank you so much for doing such a wonderful job of socializing him. He is WONDERFUL!!
We all can't wait till you have a little long haired female for us.
Again, thanks a gillion times over for Wilson.  He is the BEST!!!
Bless you! ~Linda Traylor

Hi Karen, I just wanted to check in and tell you how wonderful Abbby (Bridget) has been.  Abby and Kayla have become best friends and play all day.  They both do similiar things but still have different personalities.  They are so funny when they play together.  Kayla and myself are so glad we added Abby to the family.

Hi, Karen...Just wanted to give you an update on Trace (who has been renamed "Darby") He is already responding to his new name...and he is already a mama's boy for sure.

He is the sweetest little thing and just a joy to have around. He has been really good using the pee pads and after he gets his shots I will begin taking him outside for pottying...He is so alert. We just love him ...

I have this quilt I found with a big pocket on it and that is now his own...when he gets tired I put him on it and he snuggles in the pocket and turns around just so he can see me, then off to dreamland he goes. I don't have to tell you that I may be spoiling him.

I knew when I saw his picture that he was the "one" and I was correct. He is the perfect little guy for me, so I am glad I waited until I found him. I knew he was out there and you can be certain that he will have lots of loving care here in Georgia. I don't think there is another like him (does that sound like a prejudiced new mom, or what?)

Thanks again for all your help in getting him to us, and for all the good advice I have received...it has helped a lot. I will most likely be calling upon you for more advice as things should occur. You are doing a wonderful job with these little guys and gals and it is obvious that they come from a loving home. That makes the transition so much easier.

Take care and we will stay in touch. Thanks again.

Oh, I know, and I didn't even HAVE a "near death" experience! But that's what a "new year" is far, right? So, that we can try to do better at remembering why we're really here and to try and not get TOO caught up in the details? Unfortunately, there will always be the cr--p we have to deal with though. I just wanted to send you this because what you're doing, breeding such adorable puppies, must be very time consuming and hard work. BUT...what you're doing for helpless animals is SO admirable! I wish I had your courage and strength! God Bless YOU.

Well, on another note, I hope your new year is starting out to be a good one! I have been meaning to send pics of "Jake" (yes, we finally named him). I will do that soon. He has TOTALLY captured our hearts! What a loveable little boy. He's in my lap while I'm typing this. He likes to stay close! Anyway, quick update.... Jake is fitting in very well with the cats, and my big dog Harley, and my other daughter's dog, Emmy. Her and Emmy are pretty much inseparable, but it's a "love-hate" relationship at times... ha ha! Jake is also doing VERY well on his pee pads. Only an occasional accident. I hate to even start taking him outside because he is doing so well. Went to the vet again today. He weighed in at 2-1/2 lbs. He was SO funny.... as soon as he saw the vet, and he is a VERY SWEET vet, he started scrambling up my shoulder like a cat! Jake is smart, and he remembered, all to well, his previous vet visit! Gosh, I look at your website ALOT. It's all I can do to keep from getting another one. Oh well, once we move to San Antonio (in about 6 months), and Kelsey moves to San Marcos with her sister, I will DEFINITELY have to get my OWN little one!

Take care... and I will send pictures soon! ~Vicki

I Just wanted to let you know that Mojo is doing very well in our home.  He is 2lbs now and full of energy.  He loves to go in the backyard and run in circles.  He goes to my son’s baseball practices and games with us and everyone there just LOVES him.   He loves to be the center of attention in any way he can.  Here are some pictures. ~ Lara F.

Karen –

I can’t thank you enough for my beautiful puppy. He is amazing
and being pee-pad trained when I took him home really took the burden off of me. He is my special little buddy and I can’t imagine life without him.

Amy J. ~ San Antonio, TX

Dear Karen,
Daniel & I would like to thank you for our PERFECT puppy! Towards the end, it felt like we would never reach the day when we would finally pick him up at the airport. We are 110% happy! He is everything you told us to be and more.  He has such a wonderful personality and is such a cuddler! We could not have picked a better breeder. Thank you for the updated photos & for being so quick to answer all my questions & concerns. We will keep in touch & keep you updated on Astro!

Love,
The Wilsons!

Hi Karen,

Gina is now named Kaylee!  She is adorable and my girls just love her.  I took her to the vet yesterday, Porter Animal Hospital, Dr. Philip Elmer, and she checked out perfectly.  She weighs 1.8 lb.  She is eating good and loves her new home.  She is extremely spoiled rotten.  She is very outgoing and I know we picked out the perfect chi for our family.

Enjoyed meeting you and good luck finding homes for the others.  My sister-in-law may be giving you a call for a new chi herself.

Take care and I will send pictures as soon as Mike downloads them on the computer.

Thanks for everything, Traci Aalund

Hi Karen,
Sorry I have not e-mailed you any updates yet... Gidget is doing absolutely AMAZING!!!! He only had a few accidents the first day we had him and since then he has used his potty pad every time! He is absolutely spoiled too and he knows it! I will send you some pictures when we get back from thanksgiving break! Thank you so much for our precious little boy! ~ Crystal

Hi Karen:

It's Cameron and Harper! We just wanted to let you know how wonderful things are going in the new home. Yesterday (10/7) we went to the vet, everything was great!

Harper is such a loving dog with an incredible personality! He has been such a blessing these past few days so I wanted to thank you for letting him be part of my life!

All the love in College Station,  Cameron and Harper

Karen,

Hi! I don't know if you remember me but I bought a puppy named Harper from you in October of 2008. If I remember correctly, I think that you called him Hedgehog! Well, I know that it has been a while but I wanted to let you know that he is doing so wonderfully! He is the most precious thing ever! I have attached some recent pictures! Also, within the next year or two I want to get another one of your puppies if possible, just a heads up! I have had the greatest experience with Harper and hope that everything is going well for you!

Cameron

ps. I can't believe how quickly they grow up!

Zoey & Sam

Zoey is so spoiled! She has so many toys that she loves to play with, she even plays with all my stuffed animals!  During the day she sleeps on my bed when she takes naps with me, she loves cuddling! She also tries to play with my other dog Brandy, Zoey copies everything Brandy does lol.  She LOVES getting attention from everyone ,she's adorable , so many people say shes the cutest Chihuahua they've seen! Zoey is the best birthday present ever! :]

Thank you so much Karen

Jade is so funny and so so sweet…we just can’t get enough of her!!!   ~Regards, Claire Spence

Hi Karen!

Yes.....Becca is extremely spoiled!  I can't help it, she is too precious to deny her anything..lol!

Just an update,  I must admit although she is a Chihuahua, she has the appetite of a Doberman! Becca is a very hearty eater!

Becca sleeps so well in her crib!  When she is ready for her nap she walks over to it and whimpers, which is my signal to lift her little butt into the crib.  She is such a good little girl and so sweet!  I can tell that she came from a very loving family, and I am so grateful to you for allowing me the opportunity to continue loving this little cutie!

Becca is such so smart, she has me all figured out!  Last night I put her in her crib for bedtime
while I did some knitting (I know, how boring, but its cheap therapy).  She popped her head out and whimpered, OMG I could not look at her little eyes and refuse her! So, I took her out and she sat on my lap (and played with the yarn) until she fell asleep!  I must admit, I AM AT HER MERCY!

Today she woke up at 7:00 went on her wee wee pad and ran straight for her food dish.  I can't believe something so small can eat so much!  Today she will visit the vet so we will see how much her chunky butt weighs.
If I haven't thanked you before, let me do so now.  I cannot thank you enough for potty training Becca!  You would not believe what a load off my shoulders that has been.  It has been awhile since I had to potty train a puppy and I was not sure if I was up for it, but Becca knows "the drill".... She is so well trained!  It's such a falsity that toy breeds are hard to housebreak! Not sure what your method is, but stick to it!

Ok, gonna cut this short because little Miss Becca wants to play with her pink plush doggy. She scoots it towards me with her nose and I wiggle it in front of her while she tries to catch it.  Ahhhhh what a hard life, right?

Talk to you soon and I will give you a full update on her vet visit along with more pictures!  Feel free to use any e-mails or pictures that you wish.  You deserve all the credit possible!

Lots of love, Marcy and Becca

Hello Karen!

Becca was a real trooper at the vet, she got the whole work-up and was so brave.  The vet said that she is absolutely perfect!!! Honestly, she said that Becca was the perfect example of what a Chihuahua should be.  Her coat is shiny, her eyes bright, alert, not protruding, set well apart.  Her ears were nice and clean, her muzzle short and pointed. Her temperature was fine, her fecal came back fine. She now weighs 2 pounds, so now is the time to wean her off the moist food....not sure how happy she will be with that!

The vet just loved Becca!   She said little Becca was so beautiful and a great example of proper breeding. She asked where I got the little princess and I gave her your web site. So, the vet visit was a success!

Right now I am eating a slice of pizza and she is just sitting here staring and me and slapping me with her paw!  She is too funny! She is such a character, everything she does is so cute and silly.  We have so much fun!  I can see how easily someone could become addicted to Chihuahuas!

OK, gonna get going for now...Becca is scooting her plush doggy at me and I can't resist.  I will drop you a line later today. Hope all is well!
Hugs and kisses,

Hey Karen!
Just wanted to let you know that everything is going GREAT with Lola!  She has really adjusted quickly to her new surroundings and is already bringing so much joy to our home.  She's doing well with her puppy pad, and we continue to help her find it every time she wakes up.  Thank you so much for training her so well for the first few weeks of her life.  We took lots of naps together this weekend, and played with her mouse toy.  She really seems to have bonded with us after only 3 days of being together, and runs to us every time she wakes up.  We are so in love with her.

Thank you so much for coming into our lives and bringing us such a

wonderful new addition to our family.  Lola brought us together for a reason, and I know that we will remain friends as Lola grows up.  We can't wait to visit the Shelter when it is ready!
Have a wonderful week, ~ Laura DeJesus (Lola's proud mom)

Karen,

I want to thank you for the time you gave to Melinda and I when we came to pick up my Penney Lane, formerly Nina.  She is so precious.  You wouldn't believe how gorgeous she gets week after week.  I feel like she has always been here.  Thanks for the start on pee pad training, she is doing great.  I have pee pads in several rooms so when she is roaming she can find one.  I'm sure I'll be seeing you in the future to get another little darling like Penney Lane.

Thanks again, Linda

You must have been reading my mind. I was just in the middle of typing an email to you to let you know we made it home safe and sound. I called my daughter just as I was pulling in to our driveway to make sure it was “safe” to sneak in without my wife hearing me. She told me told wait because my sister – in – law was there with her 2 little kids. So, I had to wait 2 hours up at my shop before she finally left. While I was at my shop I went ahead and put the little dress on the puppy and sat there and played with her until it was time to go to the house. When the coast was clear, I put the puppy in the pink purse, put the purse in a bag, and walked in to the house.
When my wife opened the bag, all she saw was the purse. When she started taking the purse out, the puppy moved and my wife got all excited. A huge smile was on her face all night long. She held and played with Jorja pretty much all night until they both fell asleep. Thank you so much for the little bundle of joy. It was a pleasure meeting you and all the chi’s. I attached a picture of my wife with her new baby.

Hi Karen,  - Bailey (Jorja) is doing fine. She is a very playful and affectionate pup. She knows how to shake hands and sit already. Our couches are a little to high for her to jump up on so I built a little ramp for her to get up and down with. When she gets in her playful mode, she just flies up and down on that ramp going in circles. The funny part about that though is when she runs up the ramp, it’s with all four feet. When she runs down the ramp, she is only on her two front feet with her butt up in the air. She is definitely a little clown. My wife and daughter are so attached to her, they hate to go to work or school. I’ll try to get a pic of her on the ramp and send it to you soon.- Take care.

Hi Karen,

I hope all is well with the new puppies (very excited to see new pictures) and that you had a great start to the new year.

I'm writing to ask about any other reputable breeders whom you might personally know that breed Yorkshire Terriers and/or larger dogs. I have some friends who are looking for these breeds, but, myself included, we all want to stay away from shams and anything close to a puppy mill business.

You are the only breeder, so far, that I have experienced and fully trusted and I want to give my friends the same pleasure. Unfortunately they're not looking for Chihuahuas, so I'm hoping you might have some referrals regarding breeders of other types of dogs. Being a reputable breeder yourself, I am hoping you know some who might be as good as you to all the dogs in their home as well as their customers.

Thanks once again! Best, Candace

Hi and good morning!  I don't know if you remember me or not but in September I bought a beautiful puppy from you. I named him Oso but I think you called him Brody. I just wanted to give you an update. He's doing fabulous! He's all grown up now and weighs about 6 pounds.

He's kind of on the skinny side but he's REALLY long! My mother says he looks just like my husband because he's long and skinny! But he's

doing just great and he's grown very beautifully! Thank you so much for making our transition so smooth!  ~Stephanie Vargas
